Precautions: The type of adhesive (e.g., eco-friendly glue, waterproof glue) must be specified, as different adhesives affect customs clearance (e.g., formaldehyde emission) and cost; also note the difference between gluing and 'bonding' or 'heat sealing'—gluing emphasizes the use of adhesives, bonding is more general, and heat sealing melts materials through heating. Additionally, gluing may involve intellectual property (e.g., specific glue formulas) or safety standards (e.g., flame-retardant gluing).
