Participants who visited parks at least twice a week reported lower stress levels and improved mood. Interestingly, the size of the green space mattered less than the frequency of visits. However, the study also found that people living within 300 meters of a park were 40% more likely to exercise regularly. The researchers concluded that even small, well-maintained gardens can provide significant benefits. They recommend integrating such spaces into city planning, especially in densely populated areas.
