Participants who visited parks at least twice a week reported 20% lower stress levels compared to those who didn't. Interestingly, the duration of each visit mattered less than the frequency. Even short visits of 10 minutes were beneficial. However, the study also found that the quality of green space, such as presence of trees and water features, influenced the effect. The researchers suggest that city planners should prioritize accessible, high-quality parks in residential areas.
