Size Set Sample

Size Set Sample is a professional term in the foreign trade industry for garments, footwear, headwear, luggage, etc. It refers to samples made before bulk production, based on the confirmed style sample, with one piece or one set made for each size required by the order (such as S, M, L, XL, etc.), used to check the size specifications, pattern proportions, wearing effect, and craftsmanship consistency of each size. Usage scenario: usually submitted to the customer for approval after the Fit Sample is confirmed and before bulk production, and is an important confirmation step before mass production. Notes: Size Set Samples must be made strictly according to the customer's Size Spec, and the dimensional error of each part must be controlled within the tolerance range; the same fabrics and accessories and craftsmanship as bulk production must be used; after customer confirmation, a sealed sample should be kept as the basis for bulk acceptance. Difference from other terms: Fit Sample focuses on style and fit, while Size Set Sample focuses on full-size dimensions and pattern; Pre-Production Sample is the final confirmation sample made with the correct fabric and craftsmanship before bulk production, usually including all corrections after Size Set Sample confirmation.
