Contract Marking

Contract Marking refers to the specific symbols, text, or codes marked on the outer packaging, documents, or related files of goods during the performance of a foreign trade contract, in order to facilitate identification, verification, and management, and related to the contract number, letter of credit number, product name, quantity, destination, etc. Usage scenarios include: exporters adding marks as required by the contract when preparing goods, marking shipping marks, and preparing documents; importers or carriers quickly associating contracts with goods based on these marks. Precautions: The marking content must be strictly consistent with the contract and letter of credit to avoid discrepancies in documents or customs clearance delays caused by spelling or numerical errors; if the letter of credit has specific marking requirements, they should be followed first. Difference from 'Shipping Marks': Contract Marking focuses on associating with the contract itself, while Shipping Marks focus on logistics identification; Contract Marking may include the contract number, while Shipping Marks usually include consignee code, destination, etc. Difference from '唛头' (Marks): 唛头 is a common term for Shipping Marks, while Contract Marking has a broader scope and can appear on documents.
