Sample Making

Sample Making refers to the process of producing samples according to customer requirements, and it is a key step before confirming a foreign trade order. Usage scenarios include: after a customer inquiry, they request physical samples to confirm quality, specifications, and workmanship; or before mass production, a Pre-Production Sample is made for the customer's final confirmation. Precautions: 1. Clarify who bears the sample fee and courier fee (usually samples are free but the customer pays freight, or the sample fee is refunded in the mass production order); 2. Confirm sample standards (such as material, color, size, packaging, logo, etc.) to avoid disputes caused by inconsistency with mass production; 3. The sampling cycle affects the delivery date, so it needs to be communicated in advance; 4. Distinguish between 'sample making' and 'production sample': the former is used for development confirmation, while the latter is used for post-production spot checks. Unlike 'quotation', sample making is physical verification and usually occurs after quotation and before order placement. Unlike 'inspection', inspection targets mass production, while sample making targets preliminary confirmation. Successful sample making is an important prerequisite for closing an order.
