It refers to the act of one party (usually the exporter or inviter) booking and securing temporary lodging such as hotels or apartments for another party (clients, inspectors, supplier representatives, etc.). Usage scenarios include: client visits to inspect factories, attending trade shows, business negotiations, quality inspections, or technical support. Notes: 1) Clarify who bears the cost to avoid disputes; it can be specified in the contract as "accommodation to be borne by the buyer" or "borne by the seller"; 2) Confirm accommodation standards (e.g., star rating, room type, location) to match client habits and company budget; 3) Communicate in advance about check-in/check-out times, number of guests, and special needs (e.g., non-smoking rooms, airport pickup); 4) Keep booking receipts and inform the client promptly. It often appears alongside "Arrange Transportation," but accommodation focuses on lodging while transportation focuses on pickup and transfer. The difference is that "Arrange Accommodation" is part of the reception process, not a trade term (such as FOB, CIF); it does not involve risk transfer and is merely a service arrangement.
