New Order

A New Order refers to a purchase request sent by a buyer to a seller for the first time, or an additional procurement demand from an existing customer that has substantial differences in terms compared to previous orders. In foreign trade, it marks the transaction entering the stage of contract negotiation or execution. Usage scenarios include: a customer explicitly expressing purchase intention via email, placing an order on-site at a trade show, submitting an order through an e-commerce platform, etc. Precautions: After receiving a new order, promptly confirm core terms such as product specifications, quantity, unit price, trade terms, payment method, and delivery time, and assess your production capacity and raw material inventory; if it is a new order from an existing customer, check whether the packaging, shipping marks, and quality inspection standards are consistent with historical orders. Difference from other terms: A new order is different from a 'Repeat Order', which usually follows the original terms; it is also different from a 'Trial Order', which is small in quantity and aimed at testing the market. A new order may turn into a formal contract, or may be canceled due to failure to reach agreement on terms, so it is necessary to reply cautiously and keep written records.
