Blister Tray

A Blister Tray is a tray-shaped packaging container formed by heating and softening a plastic sheet (such as PVC, PET, PS, PP, etc.) through a vacuum forming process and then drawing it onto a mold surface. In foreign trade, it is commonly used for the display, protection, and transport packaging of small items such as electronic products, hardware fittings, toys, cosmetics, and medical devices. Use scenarios include: serving as an inner liner to secure products, serving as an independent sales unit, or being combined with a paper card to form a blister pack. Notes: It is necessary to specify the material (e.g., environmentally friendly PET material), dimensions (length, width, height), thickness (e.g., 0.3 mm), color (transparent/black/flocked, etc.), gram weight, and whether it is anti-static; different materials affect recycling labels and export compliance (such as EU packaging regulations). Difference from 'Blister Box': a blister tray usually refers to a tray with a single open side, while a blister box may have a lid or be folded in half; difference from 'Blister Clamshell': clamshells are mostly two pieces folded together or snap-fitted, while trays are often single-layer. In foreign trade quotations, it is necessary to specify mold cost allocation, minimum order quantity, printing requirements, and packaging method.
