Repair Rush

Repair Rush is a common term in foreign trade after-sales service, referring to a customer's request for priority and rapid processing of returned items for repair, in order to shorten the standard repair cycle. Usage scenarios are mostly when equipment failure affects production, urgent repairs within the warranty period, or high-value products that need to be quickly restored to use. Notes: it is necessary to clarify expedited fees (such as rush charges, courier fees), division of responsibility (whether due to quality issues), repair scope and completion time, and confirm them in a contract or email. Compared with Standard Repair, expedited service usually charges additional fees and does not change the warranty terms; unlike Replacement, repair rush still focuses on repair. The difference from a Rush Order is that the latter is for newly purchased products, while repair rush is for products already sold. Foreign trade practitioners should communicate with customers in advance about the feasibility of expedited service, additional costs, and logistics arrangements to avoid quality risks or disputes caused by rushing the work.
