Repair Termination

Repair Termination is a term in foreign trade and equipment repair contracts, referring to the end of repair services or repair responsibilities under specific conditions. It is commonly found in after-sales service agreements, warranty terms, or independent repair contracts, and occurs when repair is completed, the warranty period expires, both parties agree to terminate, or one party breaches the contract. Usage scenarios include: confirming termination after equipment repair, ending repair obligations within the warranty period, and suspension of cross-border repair services due to force majeure. Notes: termination conditions, notification obligations, cost settlement, and subsequent responsibilities must be clearly defined; if terminated within the warranty period, it may affect the buyer's right to claim. Unlike 'repair completion,' which only means the repair action has ended, 'repair termination' emphasizes the end of a contractual or legal relationship; compared with 'contract termination,' it specifically refers to the termination of repair-related obligations. Foreign trade practitioners should distinguish 'repair termination' from 'warranty termination': the former may occur due to the end of a single repair, while the latter refers to the end of the entire warranty period.
