Style Sample

A Style Sample is a sample in foreign trade that focuses on non-functional features of a product such as appearance design, color, pattern, and style. It is usually used to display the product's design style and visual effect, rather than emphasizing physical performance or dimensional precision. It is common in industries such as apparel, footwear, headwear, bags, and home goods. It is made after the customer confirms the design draft and before mass production, serving as the basis for both parties to confirm style details. Use scenarios include: the customer provides a design drawing or sample and requests sampling, displaying new styles at exhibitions or for sales promotion, and letting the customer see a sample before confirming an order. Notes: The style sample must remain consistent with the final bulk goods in color, fabric, pattern, etc., to avoid customer rejection due to color difference or workmanship differences; it is different from a Pre-Production Sample, which is made with bulk materials before mass production to confirm overall quality and workmanship; it is also different from a Sales Sample, which is mainly used for market promotion. A style sample is usually not used to test physical performance, so it cannot replace a functional sample or test sample. When making it, the customer's specific requirements for style, color, and pattern must be clarified, and confirmation records should be kept to prevent subsequent disputes.
