Payment Accounting Currency

Payment Accounting Currency refers to the currency agreed upon in a foreign trade contract for recording and settling order payments. It is usually the same as the order pricing currency but can differ. Usage scenarios include: under settlement methods such as letters of credit, telegraphic transfer, and documentary collection, specifying the currency in which funds are credited and paid, to avoid exchange rate fluctuations and currency confusion. Precautions: the currency must be clearly stated in the contract, and exchange rate risks, foreign exchange controls, and bank charges should be considered; if the pricing currency differs from the accounting currency, the conversion rate and timing should be agreed upon. Difference from pricing currency: the pricing currency is used to calculate commodity prices, while the accounting currency is used for actual receipt/payment and bookkeeping. Difference from settlement currency: the settlement currency is the currency used for final debt settlement, while the accounting currency focuses more on accounting records.
