Mass Production

Mass Production refers to the bulk production phase in foreign trade orders, which occurs after sample approval and is typically for confirmed formal orders. Usage scenarios include: after the customer confirms the sample and issues a PO, the factory arranges material procurement, scheduling, and production until shipment. Precautions: 1) Mass production must strictly follow the approved sample; any changes require the customer's written consent; 2) Before production, verify the specifications, quantity, and delivery date in the PI; 3) The mass production cycle directly affects the delivery date, so confirm capacity with the factory in advance; 4) Difference from 'Sampling': sampling is a pre-production sample used to confirm quality and workmanship, while mass production is bulk replication; Difference from 'Pilot Run': pilot run is a small-batch process validation, while mass production is formal bulk production. In foreign trade, it is often used with 'Production Sample', which is a sample drawn from mass production for the customer's final confirmation or inspection.
