Contract Quality Guarantee Agreement Form

The Contract Quality Assurance Agreement Form is a written document in international trade in which the buyer and seller reach terms on quality assurance for goods, usually as an attachment to the main contract or as a standalone agreement. Its core contents include: quality assurance standards (such as ISO, ASTM), inspection methods and sampling rules, warranty period, scope of responsibility (such as repair, replacement, return), claim procedures, and dispute resolution methods. It is mostly used in transactions with high requirements for quality stability, such as mechanical equipment, electronic products, and bulk commodities. Notes: quality indicators must be quantifiable, and vague wording should be avoided; it should be aligned with inspection clauses and claim clauses to prevent conflicts; distinguish it from a 'quality inspection certificate,' which only certifies that a single batch of goods is qualified, whereas a quality assurance agreement form is a continuing quality commitment. Compared with a 'quality assurance letter,' the agreement form places more emphasis on a tabulated agreement of the rights and obligations of both parties, is more formal in form, and is often used in long-term supply contracts.
