Contract Quality Guarantee Personnel is a common role in foreign trade contracts, referring to dedicated personnel appointed by the buyer or seller to supervise and ensure that the goods or services under the contract meet the agreed quality standards. Their responsibilities include: conducting quality inspections during production and delivery, sampling and testing, reviewing quality documents, and issuing quality assurance reports or certificates of conformity. This role is often used in procurement contracts for large equipment, bulk commodities, or customized products, where the buyer frequently requires such personnel to be stationed at the factory for supervision. Precautions: the contract must clearly define the scope of their authority (e.g., whether they have the right to reject goods), who bears the costs, and whether their certificates serve as the basis for payment or claims.
