Usage scenarios include: guarantees under letters of credit, advance payment guarantees, performance guarantees, etc., where rapid transmission is needed and both parties agree to accept electronic documents. Precautions: 1) The legal validity of the electronic guarantee must be clarified, in accordance with the Electronic Signature Law or rules such as UCP600/ISP98; 2) Verify the authenticity and integrity of the electronic signature/seal; 3) Confirm whether the issuing bank supports electronic presentation to avoid rejection due to format non-compliance; 4) Compared with paper guarantees, it features faster circulation and lower cost, but requires guarding against forgery risks.
