Rotation Object

In foreign trade practice, 'Rotation Object' is not a standard term in ICC or Incoterms, but an operational concept used within specific companies or industries. It typically refers to email objects or attachments that need to be processed and passed on in rotation by different positions or departments in email correspondence. For example, in order follow-up, document review, payment confirmation, etc., an email may first be sent by a salesperson to a documentation specialist, then rotated to finance, logistics, etc., and the recipient at each stage is the 'rotation object'. Usage scenarios are mostly in ERP systems or collaborative office environments, emphasizing responsibility rotation and process connection in email handling. Note: This term lacks a unified definition and is easily confused with 'email polling' or 'rotation notification'. In cross-company communication, it should be avoided, and specific recipients or handlers should be clearly specified. The difference from standard trade terms is that it does not involve delivery, risk transfer, or cost division, but only describes the internal email flow mechanism.
