Gravity Rack

Gravity rack (Gravity Rack) is a warehouse racking system that uses the weight of goods to achieve automatic sliding, usually composed of beams, rollers or flow rails, guide rails, and blocking devices. Its working principle is that the rack channel is set at a certain slope. After goods are placed at the inbound end, they automatically slide to the outbound end under gravity, realizing FIFO (First In, First Out) or LIFO (Last In, First Out) access modes. In foreign trade, gravity racks are often used in logistics warehousing, distribution centers, factory production lines, and other scenarios, especially suitable for regular packaged goods such as cartons and pallets. Compared with ordinary beam racks, gravity racks have higher space utilization and faster picking efficiency, but attention must be paid to slope design, matching of goods weight and dimensions, and avoiding goods jamming. The difference from shuttle racks and drive-in racks is that gravity racks require no power equipment and are purely mechanical structures with lower cost, but they have poorer flexibility and are not suitable for non-standard or fragile goods. When purchasing, it is necessary to clarify load capacity, dimensions, number of levels, and surface treatment (such as galvanizing, powder coating), and consider sea freight packaging and installation guidance.
