EPP Foam (Expanded Polypropylene)

EPP foam (Expanded Polypropylene) is a closed-cell polypropylene foam material produced through a physical foaming process, featuring lightweight, high resilience, impact resistance, thermal insulation, sound insulation, and recyclability. In foreign trade, EPP foam is commonly traded as a raw material or finished product for packaging materials, automotive parts, children's toys, sports protective gear, cold chain insulation boxes, etc. Usage scenarios include: export quotation value, customs declaration, contract specification description, product catalogs, etc. Precautions: density (e.g., 30g/L), expansion ratio, dimensions, color, flame retardant rating, etc. must be specified, as prices vary greatly with different specifications; compared with EPS (Expanded Polystyrene), EPP is more heat-resistant and tougher but more expensive; compared with EPE (Expanded Polyethylene), EPP has better resilience. In foreign trade documents, it should not be confused with 'EPP beads', which are the raw material before foaming. Additionally, attention should be paid to the environmental regulations of the target market (such as EU REACH, RoHS) and recycling marks.
