Two-Way Entry Pallet

A Two-Way Entry Pallet is a pallet that allows a forklift to insert its forks only from two opposite directions (usually front/back or left/right). Its structural feature is that only two directions at the bottom have slots for forklift entry, while the other two directions are closed by stringers or bottom boards. This type of pallet is commonly used in one-time export packaging or light-load logistics scenarios. It has lower manufacturing costs, but its space utilization and operational flexibility are inferior to four-way entry pallets. Usage scenarios include narrow aisle handling inside containers, one-way assembly line cargo turnover, etc. Precautions: When loading or stacking, it must be ensured that the pallet entry direction matches the forklift operation direction, otherwise the operation cannot be performed; if frequent turning in narrow spaces is required, it is recommended to use four-way entry pallets. The difference from four-way entry pallets is: four-way pallets can be entered from all four directions, suitable for warehousing and transportation requiring high flexibility; while two-way pallets can only be entered from two directions, more suitable for fixed routes or low-cost export packaging. In foreign trade contracts, the pallet type, entry direction, and load-bearing requirements should be clearly specified to avoid unloading delays or extra costs caused by operational inconvenience.
