Usage scenarios include: it must be referenced in all foreign trade documents such as letter of credit issuance, bill of lading preparation, invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations to ensure document consistency and avoid confusion. Precautions: The contract number should be concise, unique, and not easily duplicated; once determined, all related documents must be strictly consistent, otherwise it may lead to bank refusal of payment or customs inspection issues.
