HB Rating is a grading term used in foreign trade to classify the quality or specifications of goods, commonly found in metals, chemicals, plastics, and other industries. It typically indicates a 'half-hard' or 'medium hardness' grade (H stands for Hard, B stands for B-grade or half-hard). Usage scenarios include: contract quality clauses, product specifications, inspection standards, and letter of credit requirements. Precautions: HB Rating is not an internationally unified standard; definitions may vary across industries or buyers, so specific parameters (such as hardness range, tensile strength) must be clearly stated in the contract.
