Payment Conclusion

Payment Conclusion is the final summary and confirmation of the payment status of an order in foreign trade practice, typically issued at the completion or periodic closing of an order. It is not a standard international trade term (such as FOB or CIF), but rather a payment status statement formed internally or after reconciliation with the customer. It includes: total amount due, amount paid, outstanding balance, payment method (T/T, L/C, etc.), payment date, and whether the account is settled. It is commonly used in financial reconciliation, final payment collection, order archiving, or dispute resolution. Note: It must be strictly verified against the contract, invoices, and bank slips. Avoid confusing 'Payment Conclusion' with 'Payment Terms' — the former is a result-oriented description, while the latter is a prior agreement. The difference from 'Payment Advice' is that an advice is issued unilaterally, whereas a conclusion is a definitive statement confirmed by both parties. Foreign trade practitioners should ensure the conclusion is clear and traceable to prevent amount discrepancies caused by exchange rate fluctuations or bank charges.
