The Contract Quality Assurance Standards Table is a normative document attached to international trade contracts, used to clearly stipulate the quality indicators, inspection methods, sampling rules, and tolerance ranges that the goods must meet. It usually serves as an annex to the contract and has the same legal effect as the main contract. Usage scenarios include: bulk commodity transactions (such as agricultural products and mineral products), acceptance of mechanical equipment, and bulk procurement of consumer goods. Precautions: This table needs to be linked with inspection clauses and claim clauses, specifying which inspection report shall prevail (such as SGS, CIQ); it should stipulate how quality nonconformities are handled (price reduction, return, claim); the standards table should avoid vague expressions such as 'good average quality' and should quantify indicators. Difference from other terms: It is different from a 'quality assurance letter' (which emphasizes the seller's unilateral commitment), and also different from a 'specification sheet' (which only lists technical parameters); rather, it is a legally binding basis for quality determination jointly confirmed by both parties to the contract.
