托福口语 Task 2

Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 2 a.m. on weekdays during finals week. Additionally, a new silent study floor will be added to reduce noise disturbances. The administration believes these changes will better support students' academic needs during high-pressure periods.

M: Did you see the announcement about the library? I'm really excited about the extended hours. Staying up late to study during finals is so common, and having the library open until 2 a.m. will be a lifesaver. My dorm gets too noisy at night, so I often have to study in the cafeteria, which closes at midnight. Now I'll have a quiet place to focus. Also, the new silent floor is perfect. I've had so many times when group study sessions in the regular areas got too loud. With a dedicated silent floor, I can finally concentrate without distractions. I think this is a great move by the administration.
