M: Did you hear about the library staying open all night during finals? That's great, right?
W: I'm not so sure. I mean, it sounds nice, but think about the noise. More students studying at night could make it harder to concentrate during the day if they're sleeping in. Plus, I heard the extra funds are only for lighting and desks, not for more staff. Who's going to keep the place safe and clean at 3 a.m.?
M: But isn't it better than having to leave at midnight when you're in the middle of a study session?
W: Maybe, but I think it's a waste. Most students probably won't use it, and if it's not supervised, it could get messy. I'd rather they spent that money on hiring more tutors.
