The university has announced that, starting next semester, the campus library will extend its opening hours to 24/7 during the final exam period. This change aims to provide students with more flexible study spaces. Additionally, the university will allocate additional funds to improve the lighting and add more study desks in the library. The new schedule will be implemented two weeks before final exams begin.

M: Did you hear about the library staying open all night during finals? That's great, right?
W: I'm not so sure. I mean, it sounds nice, but think about the noise. More students studying at night could make it harder to concentrate during the day if they're sleeping in. Plus, I heard the extra funds are only for lighting and desks, not for more staff. Who's going to keep the place safe and clean at 3 a.m.?
M: But isn't it better than having to leave at midnight when you're in the middle of a study session?
W: Maybe, but I think it's a waste. Most students probably won't use it, and if it's not supervised, it could get messy. I'd rather they spent that money on hiring more tutors.
