M: But you can always use the open study areas. Plus, I think most students who need group space can adapt. The extended hours are more valuable for everyone—many of us are night owls.
W: Maybe, but the library staff also mentioned that they'll have to close some of the computer labs in the evening to manage. That seems counterproductive if you need to write papers late.
M: I rarely use the labs; I have my own laptop. And I think the quiet study time outweighs the lab issue. I'm definitely for it.
