Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 2 a.m. on weekdays and 10 p.m. on weekends. Additionally, a new 24-hour study lounge will be opened in the student center. These changes aim to accommodate students' varying study schedules and reduce noise complaints in dormitories.

M: Did you see the announcement about extended library hours? I think it's a great idea! W: Really? I'm not so sure. I mean, who studies until 2 a.m. anyway? Most students have classes in the morning. M: But many students work part-time during the day and can only study at night. Plus, the new 24-hour lounge will be so convenient for group projects. W: I guess that's true, but what about the noise? The lounge is in the student center, which is right next to the dorms. Students might be loud at night and disturb others. M: That's a valid concern, but the lounge is meant to keep night owls out of the dorms. I think it will actually reduce noise complaints. W: Well, I still think it will be hard to staff the library that late. It could be a waste of money if few students use it.
