The extended hours will not affect regular staffing schedules, as current employees will work voluntary shifts.

Student 1: Did you see the announcement about the library being open all night during finals? I think it's a great idea. I always pull all-nighters before exams, and the library is the best place to focus. My roommate is too noisy, so staying in my dorm is impossible. Plus, the extra security makes me feel safe walking back at 3 AM. Student 2: I see your point, but I'm actually against it. The library is already crowded enough during daytime, and I worry that the 24-hour schedule will make it even more packed because some students will stay all day to reserve spots. Also, the voluntary shifts mean that the same staff might get overworked, which could lead to grumpy librarians and slower service. I prefer the current hours—it forces me to manage my time better.
