Plus, the extra security makes me feel safe walking back at 3 AM. Student 2: I see your point, but I'm actually against it. The library is already crowded enough during daytime, and I worry that the 24-hour schedule will make it even more packed because some students will stay all day to reserve spots. Also, the voluntary shifts mean that the same staff might get overworked, which could lead to grumpy librarians and slower service. I prefer the current hours—it forces me to manage my time better.
