Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 2 AM on weekdays. This change aims to provide more study time for students, especially during exam periods. Additionally, the library will add a new quiet study floor on the fourth level to accommodate increased demand. The extended hours will be funded by a small increase in the student activity fee.

W: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's a great idea. M: Really? I'm not so sure. The extra hours are nice, but the fee increase bothers me. I already pay enough for tuition and other fees. W: But think about it—during finals, the library is packed, and I often can't find a seat. Extending hours until 2 AM gives us more flexibility, especially for those who work during the day. M: I get that, but the new quiet floor is on the fourth level. That's where the group study rooms are. Moving them or mixing quiet study with group work could be confusing. W: Actually, they said they're relocating the group rooms to the first floor. The fourth floor will be exclusively for quiet study, which is even better for concentration. M: Hmm, I didn't read that part. Still, the fee increase—it's only $15 per semester, right? That's less than a pizza. For the benefits, I guess it's worth it. W: Exactly! And with more space and time, I'll actually get more work done.
