Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 24 hours on weekdays during finals week. M: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's a great idea. W: Really? I'm not so sure. Extending hours during finals week is helpful, but the quiet floor seems unnecessary. M: But the quiet floor is exactly what we need! The current library is so noisy with group discussions. I can't concentrate during finals. Having a dedicated quiet floor would help me study more effectively. W: I see your point, but I think the university could use that money for more important things, like updating the outdated computers. Also, most students study at night anyway, so 24 hours is the real benefit. M: I disagree. The quiet floor would benefit everyone, not just me. And the extended hours are only for one week, so the quiet floor provides a long-term solution for better study conditions.
