Campus Announcement: The university will extend the library's hours to 24/7 starting next semester to accommodate students' diverse study schedules. To ensure safety, students must use their ID cards to enter after 10 PM, and only the first floor will be accessible during late-night hours. The administration believes this change will enhance academic success.

Woman: Did you see the announcement about the library being open all night? I think it's a great idea! I often pull all-nighters before exams, and the current 2 AM closing is just too early. Man: I get that, but I'm not thrilled. I live off-campus, and coming back late is a hassle and unsafe. Plus, they're only opening the first floor, so all the quiet study rooms upstairs won't be available. Woman: True, but at least we have somewhere to go. And the first floor has plenty of desks and computers. For me, the extended hours mean I can stay focused without worrying about packing up. Man: But what about the noise? First floor is always busy. Woman: I'll bring earplugs. Honestly, the benefits outweigh the drawbacks for most students. Man: I still think it's a problem for commuters like me. The shuttle stops at midnight, so I'd have to walk or pay for a ride. That's not safe or cheap.
