To ensure safety, students must use their ID cards to enter after 10 PM, and only the first floor will be accessible during late-night hours. Woman: Did you see the announcement about the library being open all night? I think it's a great idea! I often pull all-nighters before exams, and the current 2 AM closing is just too early. Man: I get that, but I'm not thrilled. I live off-campus, and coming back late is a hassle and unsafe. Plus, they're only opening the first floor, so all the quiet study rooms upstairs won't be available. Woman: True, but at least we have somewhere to go. And the first floor has plenty of desks and computers. For me, the extended hours mean I can stay focused without worrying about packing up. Man: But what about the noise? First floor is always busy. Woman: I'll bring earplugs. Honestly, the benefits outweigh the drawbacks for most students. Man: I still think it's a problem for commuters like me. The shuttle stops at midnight, so I'd have to walk or pay for a ride. That's not safe or cheap.
