Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend the library's weekday hours from 10 PM to midnight. This change aims to accommodate students who prefer studying late. Additional funding will be allocated for increased staffing and security during the extended hours.

W: Did you see the email about the library staying open until midnight? I think it's a great idea. M: Really? I'm not so sure. I mean, most students, including me, finish studying by 9 or 10 PM. Who's going to use it that late? W: Actually, a lot of my friends in engineering and architecture have late project deadlines. They often pull all-nighters and have to leave when the library closes. Extra time would really help them. M: But what about the cost? Hiring more staff and security for just two extra hours seems wasteful, especially when the library isn't crowded then. W: I disagree. The library is already crowded at 10 PM on weekdays. Plus, the university could use that time to offer more study workshops or tutoring sessions, making it worth the money. M: Hmm, I still think it's unnecessary. Most students can manage their time better. W: But not everyone has that luxury. For those with heavy workloads, every extra hour counts. I'm fully in favor.
