Campus Notice: Starting next semester, the university will extend the library's weekday hours from 10 PM to midnight. This change aims to provide more study time for students, especially during exam periods. However, to cover additional staffing costs, the library will reduce its weekend hours, closing at 6 PM instead of 10 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Student A: Did you see the library notice? I'm really unhappy about it. Student B: What do you mean? I think extending weekday hours is great for late-night studying. Student A: Sure, but they're cutting weekend hours! That's when I do most of my research and group projects. I have part-time jobs on weekdays, so weekends are my only free time. Plus, many students like me have morning classes on weekdays, so we can't stay up until midnight anyway. Student B: I see your point. But don't you think the extra two hours on weekdays will help some students? Student A: Maybe, but the weekend reduction affects more students. Also, the library is already crowded on Sunday afternoons, and closing at 6 PM will make it impossible to find a seat. It's a bad trade-off.
