This change aims to provide more study time for students, especially during exam periods. However, to cover additional staffing costs, the library will reduce its weekend hours, closing at 6 PM instead of 10 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Student A: Sure, but they're cutting weekend hours! That's when I do most of my research and group projects. I have part-time jobs on weekdays, so weekends are my only free time. Plus, many students like me have morning classes on weekdays, so we can't stay up until midnight anyway.
Student B: I see your point. But don't you think the extra two hours on weekdays will help some students?
Student A: Maybe, but the weekend reduction affects more students. Also, the library is already crowded on Sunday afternoons, and closing at 6 PM will make it impossible to find a seat. It's a bad trade-off.
