Campus Announcement: The university will extend library hours to 24/7 during final exam week. This change aims to provide students with more flexible study time. To accommodate this, the library will hire temporary staff and increase security measures. The extended hours will be in effect from the Sunday before finals through the last day of exams.

Man: Did you see the announcement about the library staying open 24/7 during finals? I think it's a great idea. Woman: Really? I'm not so sure. I mean, it sounds good in theory, but I have some concerns. Man: What kind of concerns? I think it'll be super helpful for students who are night owls, like me. I always study better late at night, and right now I have to leave at midnight. Woman: I get that, but I've heard that the library is already understaffed. Adding overnight hours might mean fewer staff during the day, so daytime help could be harder to find. Man: But they said they're hiring temporary staff, so that shouldn't be an issue. Plus, with more security, I'd feel safer walking home late. Woman: Security is good, but the extra noise and people might make it harder to concentrate during the day if they change the layout. Man: I doubt it. I think the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. For me, it's a win-win.
