To help, some cities install nesting boxes on tall buildings. Yet, a key factor for their success is the availability of tall structures, not food, since they hunt efficiently in open spaces. In fact, researchers found that falcon pairs in cities produce more chicks than those in rural areas, mainly due to fewer natural predators.
