The study also found that community gardens, though smaller, promoted social interaction, which indirectly boosted well-being. However, researchers noted that access alone isn't enough; the quality and maintenance of these spaces are crucial. So, for city planners, creating safe, well-maintained parks is more effective than simply increasing their number.
