Customs Supervised Area refers to a specific area approved by customs and under customs supervision, including bonded zones, export processing zones, bonded logistics parks, ports, airports, stations, cross-border industrial zones, etc. Within this area, activities such as storage, processing, display, and transshipment of goods are subject to full customs supervision. Without customs permission, goods may not enter, leave, or be disposed of without authorization. Usage scenarios are mostly seen in import and export declaration, bonded operations, transit transportation, and cross-border e-commerce. Precautions: Enterprises need to clearly define the boundaries between supervised and non-supervised areas, and handle customs registration, account book management, and verification procedures; otherwise, they may face compliance risks. Unlike a 'bonded zone,' a customs supervised area is broader in scope, and a bonded zone is only one type of it.
