It is common in the agency customs declaration model: the client provides invoices, packing lists, contracts, and other documents, while the enterprise is responsible for filling out customs declaration forms, paying taxes, and cooperating with inspections. Use cases include general trade, processing trade, cross-border e-commerce, and more. Precautions: ensure documents are authentic, complete, and consistent to avoid false or concealed declarations; pay attention to declaration deadlines (such as within 14 days for imports) and licensing requirements; clarify agency authority and responsibility allocation to prevent legal risks caused by incorrect information provided by the client. Difference from 'self-declaration': self-declaration is filed by the cargo owner itself, while customer-managed customs declaration emphasizes entrusted agency. Difference from 'customs clearance': customs clearance is a broader concept that includes declaration, inspection, release, and the entire process, while declaration is only the filing stage within it.
