It typically includes key nodes such as follow-up after the initial quotation, feedback after sample delivery, negotiation of payment terms, confirmation of delivery time, and after-sales follow-up. Usage scenarios are mostly seen in B2B platform inquiry conversion, exhibition customer cultivation, and repeat purchase management of old customers. Notes: The cycle length varies by product, customer type, and market, so a reasonable rhythm must be set (such as the 3-7-15 day rule) to avoid causing resentment through excessive follow-up; at the same time, each communication should be recorded to distinguish 'effective follow-up' from 'harassment.' Unlike the 'sales cycle,' the follow-up cycle emphasizes the salesperson's proactive actions and frequency rather than the overall duration from lead to deal; compared with the 'customer lifecycle,' it focuses on short-term interactions before and after a single order.
