Email Rotation Signal is a professional term in foreign trade logistics and documentation operations. It refers to a rotation instruction signal sent via email to relevant parties (such as customers, freight forwarders, shipping companies) during cargo transportation or document circulation, used to confirm or change the handover sequence of transport vehicles (such as ships, flights) or document transfer nodes. It is commonly seen in bulk cargo, multimodal transport, or scenarios requiring partial shipment. For example, in a charter party, it is agreed that ships load in sequence, and after each round is completed, the next round arrangement must be notified by email. Usage scenarios include: coordinating the loading and unloading sequence of multiple ships, updating the circulation status of bills of lading or manifests, and triggering the document presentation node under a letter of credit. Notes: The trigger conditions for rotation (such as time, quantity) must be clarified, the scope of recipients must be specified, and it should not be confused with 'Shipping Advice'—the latter focuses on notification after shipment, while the rotation signal focuses on instructions for process switching. The difference from 'Rotation Order' is that Signal emphasizes instant notification in email form rather than a formal written instruction.
