Flow Rack

Flow Rack is a warehouse shelving system that uses gravity to make goods slide automatically on rollers or flow rails. It is commonly used in distribution centers, production line sides, and picking operations. In foreign trade, it is both a subject of logistics equipment procurement and a design reference for cargo packaging and container loading plans. Usage scenarios include: customers purchasing racks for warehouse upgrades; export goods requiring packaging design that matches flow rack dimensions; or under FOB/CIF terms, flow racks exported as auxiliary equipment along with production lines. Notes: Material (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel), load capacity, dimensions, number of levels, and roller type must be specified; distinguish flow racks from ordinary racks and shuttle racks—the former relies on gravity, requires no electricity, and is suitable for high-frequency FIFO picking; the latter requires power or manual intervention. Foreign trade contracts should specify packaging method (e.g., wooden crate or pallet), accessory list, and installation instructions to avoid customs clearance or installation issues due to specification mismatch.
