Anti-Static Shielding Bag

Anti-Static Shielding Bag is a special packaging material used for packaging static-sensitive electronic components, usually made of multi-layer composite film, with a Faraday cage effect, effectively shielding external electrostatic fields and preventing internal static generation. In foreign trade, this term is commonly found in export packaging requirements for electronic components, PCB boards, integrated circuits, etc., especially for customers in Europe, America, Japan, and South Korea with strict electrostatic protection standards. Usage scenarios include: when transporting, storing, and handling static-sensitive devices, ensure the packaging bags comply with standards such as MIL-PRF-81705 and ANSI/ESD S541. Note: distinguish between anti-static bags (only anti-static, not shielding) and shielding bags (with shielding layer); shielding bags usually have a metallized layer and appear silver-gray, while ordinary anti-static bags are mostly pink or black. In addition, shielding bags must be sealed and cannot completely replace moisture-proof bags. Foreign trade contracts should specify specifications, thickness, surface resistance value, and test standards to avoid returns or claims due to packaging non-compliance.
