Ziplock Bag / Self-Seal Bag

Ziplock Bag / Self-Seal Bag is a plastic packaging bag with a resealable strip (usually a press-to-close interlocking structure) that can be opened and closed manually without additional tools. In foreign trade, it is a common packaging material widely used for sub-packaging, dustproofing, and moisture-proofing of products such as clothing, hardware, electronic accessories, food, and daily necessities. Usage scenarios include: as inner packaging in direct contact with products, or as outer packaging for retail of small items. Notes: Ziplock bags for food contact in exports must comply with the destination country's food-grade standards (such as FDA, LFGB); if used for air transport, be aware that pressure changes may cause the sealing strip to burst; some customers may require ziplock bags with ventilation holes or anti-static function. Differences from other terms: ordinary PE bags (Poly Bag) have no self-sealing function and require heat sealing or tape sealing; slider bags (Slider Bag) have a hard zipper head, are more expensive but have better sealing performance; ziplock bags emphasize reusability, while ordinary bags are usually single-use. In foreign trade quotations, thickness (e.g., 0.05mm), dimensions, printing requirements, and whether food-grade must be specified.
