Moisture-Proof Paper

Moisture-Proof Paper is a packaging material with moisture-proof properties, typically made by coating paper with paraffin wax, polyethylene, or composite aluminum foil as barrier layers, used to prevent water or moisture intrusion. In foreign trade, it is commonly used for packaging moisture-sensitive goods such as machinery, metal products, electronic products, and precision instruments, as inner lining or outer packaging, to protect goods from moisture damage during ocean shipping and warehousing. Application scenarios include: container lining, wooden crate lining, individual product wrapping, etc. Precautions: Select the appropriate moisture-proof grade based on cargo characteristics (e.g., regular moisture-proof paper, VCI moisture-proof paper, etc.); moisture-proof paper is not absolutely waterproof and cannot replace waterproof packaging; pay attention to the target market's environmental requirements for packaging materials (e.g., recyclable, plastic-free, etc.). Difference from 'Waterproof Paper': waterproof paper resists liquid water penetration, while moisture-proof paper mainly blocks water vapor; difference from 'Anti-Rust Paper': anti-rust paper contains corrosion inhibitors and is specifically used for metal rust prevention, while moisture-proof paper only provides physical barriers. If a foreign trade contract or letter of credit requires 'Moisture-Proof Paper', specifications, grammage, and barrier layer material should be clearly stated to avoid disputes.
